Meissen - tea cup and
saucer, about 1750-1755. Cup: height 1 7/8", diameter 3 1/8".
Saucer: diameter 5 1/4" Mark - crossed swords under glaze
blue on cup and saucer, saucer with press numbers "64", cup
with "4". The cup and saucer are painted in polychrome with
hunting scenes in wooded landscapes above brown, purple, yellow and gilt
foliage - scroll half cartouches entwined with lives. The bottom interior of the cup decorated with flowers.
The rim of the cup and saucer have a
gold border. The cup has two flowers painted on either side
of the handle, gilded details on the handle. Condition: Very good
