Meissen - tea bowl & saucer.

 MEISSEN - Tea bowl and saucer circa 1730 - 1735.  Cup: height 1 5/8", saucer: diameter  4 1/2" Mark: crossed swords within two concentric rings and a cipher mark  under glaze blue on cup and saucer, trace of lustre mark "J", incised "z" on the inner side of the foot ring on cup and saucer. Each painted in under glaze blue with the Fels und Vogel pattern of a bird above rocks and flowering branches, over decorated in Augsburg, probably in the Seuter workshop, in tooled gilding with broad borders edged on the rims with scrollwork. The bowl and saucer with slightly flared rim. Condition:   Very good,  saucer with small fleabite under rim.
