| One of the most collectible is this delightful 1935 watch. The watch was designed by August Shallack, who worked in advertising for United Artist and was copyrighted by Walt Disney Enterprises in June 1933. Housed in its original box, the watch band shows only the slightest wear -- and features the Mickey Mouse link appliqués on the leather band at each side of the watch fact. With a clear and unscratched crystal, the watch by itself would be a choice piece. The original box is colorful and unfaded. There is a single corner separation on the lid of the box, some light scuffing (somewhat more noticeable on the bottom of the box) and some bumping at corners. The word "Mel" is written just about the word "Mouse" on the box top. One of the most recognizable of all Disney watch boxes, this one makes a great display! | |||
