In December of 1946 U.S. Time offered its first postwar
Ingersoll Mickey Mouse wristwatch. Rectangular, and without a second
hand. The figure of Mickey Mouse was redesigned and shows Mickey with
pupils in his eyes. This 1947 watch is housed in its original
colorful and unfaded box, the watch band with original price tag
shows only the slightest wear. With a clear and unscratched
crystal. Printed on two of the side panels are the words,
"Manufactured and Guaranteed by The United States Time Corporation"
with "Ingersoll Wrist Watch" repeated on the remaining sides. The box
with a couple of small edge tears and some wear to corners and
along edges some light scuffing, a small area of superficial paper
loss to the bottom of the box. Small amount of neat pen writing on one
of the side panel. A four page care and warranty pamphlet
included. |
